Sharon Sharaby of BSD Capital is preparing to launch Paddock Market in the old Sears department store at Paddock Mall by October 2024. This innovative market will feature a post-modern architectural style and include 10 restaurants and 107 small retail spaces within a 146,000 sq. ft. area. Sharaby, who owns the property through BSD.Capital, bought the building in 2022 for $3.3 million and is dedicating an additional $3.5 million to its renovation. The market’s design aims to support small businesses, offering them 350 sq. ft. spaces at a rental rate of $500 per month. This concept mirrors Sharaby’s successful venture in Sarasota/Bradenton, fostering a dynamic environment for local entrepreneurs.
